Consumers continue to neglect financial planning
Over a third of UK workers are neglecting their financial planning, and the problem is most pronounced among lower earners, according to a new report by the Association of British Insurers (ABI). … the ABI revealed that while life cover is still the most popular form of insurance, less than half of people (46%) have a policy, followed by 16% who have critical illness cover, 15% with mortgage payment protection insurance , and 15% with private medical insurance. …

term does not take into consideration the unexpected events in life. I don’t think one should put all their eggs in the whole life basket, but only an idiot would think that all you need is term in every situation. trust me, when I bring a death benefit to a 75 year old widow, I see first hand the benefit of permanent insurance. I hope you never have to find out first hand. I also, hope your not a financial planner.
