Just a note on people not being able to pay for the C4C cars. Credit is not as easy to get as it once was. You can no longer get a car loan or for that matter a CC without a clean or at least decent credit rating.

I believe it's a fallacy to say C4C will result in more car loan defaults. I know my wife works with a pretty wealth group of dudes at work and the program was popular with them. The poor aren't the only ones with crap sitting around in their driveway.
